The owner wanted to open up this dated space with a decorative, handmade stair rail.
Mark Woodham of MW Studios worked with the client to design an ironwork forest railing using the existing stairs.
The railing was forged in the shop and taken on site.
CSC removed the drywall and the carpet from the stairs. We then installed custom oak treads and the rail.
The railing opened up the space, creating a lighter, more contemporary and natural space.
The ironwork railing brings the beauty of the mountains inside.
